Marjorie Louise Dodson, 97, passed away on Sunday, November 22, 2015, at Sunshine Haven in Olmito, Texas. Born September 14, 1918 in Ravia, Oklahoma to George T. Hale and Nellie A. Hale, Louise was the youngest and last surviving of nine siblings. A lifelong resident of Harlingen, she worked at Hygeia Dairy for 27 years.
She was married to A.W. Dodson until his passing in 1976. She is survived by one son, Robert G. Dodson; niece, Pam Shafer of New Mexico; great-nieces, Sharon Lane of Blooming Grove and Sherry Brown of The Woodlands. She also leaves behind 3 grandsons and 3 great-grandsons.
Louise was a long time member of 8th and Harrison Church of Christ and Rangerville Church of Christ.
She lived a full and active life taking care of her family and loved ones and being an awesome cook.
She will be greatly missed!
