Marjorie Knauss Marjorie P. Knauss, 81, of Bethlehem, passed away Friday, February 18, 2011 at the Lehigh Valley Hospital “” Muhlenberg. She was the wife of the late Pierce A. Knauss. Born in Jim Thorpe, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Ada (Bauchspies) Potter. Marjorie worked as a process checker for Lucent Technologies, formerly Western Electric and AT&T until her retirement in 1986. She was also a member of the Telephone Pioneers. Survivors: children, William Evans and his wife Patricia of Allentown, David Evans and his wife Diane of Allentown, Pamela Ansell and her husband Phillip of New Tripoli, Dwight Schantz and his wife Marie of Bethlehem, and Lee Schantz of Bethlehem; 13 grandchildren; 1 great-grandson. Marjorie was preceded in death by brothers Dr. Richard Potter and Thomas Potter.
