Marjorie “Jeanne” Martz Johnson, 85, Anderson, went to be with the Lord on April 27, 2009 at Community Hospital, Anderson after a brief illness. Jeanne was born January 25, 1924 in Daleville, Indiana, and resided in the Anderson/Middletown/ Daleville area all of her life.
She graduated from Daleville High School. Jeanne retired from Middletown Medical Clinic in 1989. She was a member of Eastview Church of the Nazarene and enjoyed the Bible, reading, crafts, gospel music and her flower gardens. She enjoyed spending time with her family, friends, and her cat, Izzy!
She is survived by her son, Donald L. Debbie Rowden of Galveston; daughter, Debbie Ellen Dan Taylor of Anderson; three granddaughters, Christina Smith and Brenda Rodney Grubb of Windfall and Regina George Dillman of Galveston; eight great grandchildren, Ashleigh, Cassie, Bryce, Abbey, Nolan, Krista, Kohldon and Cory; great great grandchildren, Chloe and Chandler; sister, Mary Hittson; sister-in-law, Betty Martz of Chesterfield and several nieces and nephews.
A special thank you to Dr. Rhoades and his Staff, Dr. Jetty, Dr. Kabir, Dr. Malik and Community Hospital Staff for their loving care and support. She was preceded in death by her parents, Erwin H. & Barbara Ellen Fenwick Martz; husband, Forest C. Johnson; brother, Jack Martz and sister, Carol Smith.
