Ballard, Marjorie Jane Marjorie was born in Fairfield, IL on July 24, 1926, the daughter of the late Fred and Myra (Applebee) Koontz. She retired from Comstock Public Schools, where she worked in the Food Service and Building and Grounds Departments. She was a member of Kalamazoo First Assembly of God. She enjoyed gardening, yard work and especially loved tending to her roses.
She is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Jesse D. Ballard; one son, Roger D. (Bettie) Ballard; two grandchildren, Frederick and Roger Jr.; three great-grandchildren; one sister; and numerous other extended family members.
Marjorie was preceded in death by her daughter, Sandra Clary; and one sister.
