Marjorie Jean Moyer, 87, of Fortville passed away May 16, 2010 in Indianapolis. She was born March 22, 1923 to Horace and Hazel (Merrill) Wise. Marjorie was a homemaker. She was actively involved in several organizations being a 50 year member of the Fortville Order of the Eastern Star Chapter No. 149, Past Worthy Patron of the Fortville OES No. 149, Past Page of the Indiana Grand Chapter of the OES, a member of the Fortville First United Methodist Church, member of Christ United Methodist Church in Venice, FL and active member of the Sandalwood Mobile Home Park Association.
She is survived by daughter: Jean A. (Bill) Walker; son: William E. (Pam) Moyer all of Fortville, grandchildren: Rex Walker of New York, NY, Paige Walker Carson of Fortville; Robyn Moyer Weaver of McCordsville; great-grandchildren: Kailey Weaver, Ian Carson, Tristan Carson, Kiernon Weaver and Kelton Weaver. Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents, husband Ralph C. Moyer, sister Theda Godbey, two infant brothers and grandson David Lee Moyer.
