Marjorie J. Johnston 82, of Anderson, passed away at St. Johns hospital, on Sunday January 8th at 8:40 am. Marjorie was born June 13th 1929 to Arthur and Dorothy (Bunch) Robertson. She married Robert E. Johnston who preceded her in death in 1999.
Marjorie worked for Ft. Harrison Finance for 26 years in the finance department before retiring.
Marjorie graduated from Anderson High School in 1947 and attended Vincennes college for 2 years. She volunteered at rolling hills, Humane Society and loved to play the keyboard and read poetry. Marjorie was a long time attender at East Lynn Christian Church.
Survivors include Nephew John (Vickey) Robertson, Great Niece Cassandra Robertson and Great Nephew Shiloh Robertson. Preceded her in death by Husband Robert Johnston, Father Aurthur Robertson, Mother Dorothy (Bunch)Robertson, Step-Mother Blanch Robertson and Brother John Robertson.
