She was a member of the First Church of God and the Women’s Group at the church. She was married to Mervin W. Carel on October 25, 1947 and he preceded her in death on April 3, 1998.
She is survived by one daughter, Monica (Donald) Caster, Greensburg; one brother, Carl Rigby, Greensburg; three sisters, Betty Moore, Greensburg, Carolyn Stringer, Greensburg, Wanda Ralston, Letts; six grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one son, Mervin Carel, Jr.; one daughter, Marcia Stuart; four brothers, Kenny, Frank, John Paul and Silas Rigby, Jr.; four sisters, Edna Rigby, Joan Rigby, May Louise Rigby, Mary Carel.
