Marjorie Elizabeth Goodwin Cole, 84, Anderson, died September 24, 2003 at Countryside Manor, Anderson after an extended illness. She was born June 10, 1919 in Middletown, Indiana, and resided in Anderson, Indiana. She was a lifelong Anderson resident She retired in 1978 as a manager from J.J. Fashions. She was a member of East Lynn Christian Church, the Eagles Lodge and the Moose Lodge. She enjoyed dancing and doing crafts. She is survived by her One Daughter: Nancy Jane & husband Terry Slusser of Anderson. Three Grandchildren: Terry & wife Mindy Slusser Jr.,Marcie Slusser & special friend Tim Jared of Anderson and James ”Ignatz” Reed. Four great grandchildren: Miranda, Paul, Cami and Danny. Three great great grandchildren: Alexis, Halee and Kylee. Nephew: Arthur Maupin Jr. Niece: Annie Kline. Special Friends: Marion Chance, Mabel Dean, Rick Long, Melanie, Pat, Joella, Ashleigh, Sandy, Shawna and Jay. The family wishes to give a special thank you to the Staff at Countryside Manor, Dr. Rocco and Dr. Rhoades. She was preceded by her husband of 35 years, Oscar L. ”Bud” Cole in 1985; daughter, Juanita Chaney; father, Harvey Goodwin; mother, Callie Maupin Jones; brother, Arthur Maupin Sr.; sister-in-law, Helen Warburton.
