Marjorie Doris Hoff passed away April 29, 2009, at a local care center following an accident.
Being the youngest of three children, Marjorie was born October 31, 1921 to Hayden Richardson and Maggie Stillwell of Caldwell, ID. Marjorie graduated from Caldwell High and soon after married LeRoy Hoff, also of Caldwell in 1939.
Marjorie and LeRoy spent the early years of their marriage up in Stibnight, ID where Leroy worked in the mines. While living up in the wilderness of the Cascade Mountains, there she proudly welcomed two children, Michael and Karen. In 1950 the family moved back to the BoiseValley where Marjorie worked as a dedicated volunteer with the Elks. She recently received her 47 year lifetime member pin. She was very proud of that. Marjorie also dedicated hundreds of hours to the ARC of Boise.
Marjorie was a dedicated mother, grandmother, and most recently great grandmother. Marjorie took her role as the family matriarch and story teller quite seriously. She always made sure we all knew who we were and where we came from. Family history and pictures were something she cherished collected and shared with all.
Although she never officially joined St.
