Marjorie Anne Marty, 65, of Lostant, died at 3:50 p.m. Sunday, November 26, 2006, at her home. She was born December 12, 1940, in Varna to Carl Herbert and Margaret (Bathgate) Walin. She was a Mid-County High School graduate and was a housewife and mother. She married Dr. Ernest G. Marty, Jr. on November 18, 1962, in the First Lutheran Church, Varna. She was a member of the First Lutheran Church, Varna.
She is survived by: 2 sons, Ernest Marty III of Normal, and Vaughn (Nicki) Marty of Bloomington; 1 daughter, Dr. Rhonda (Dr. Eric Anderson) Marty-Anderson of Oglesby; 2 grandchildren, James Marty of Bloomington, and Ava Marty of Bloomington; and 1 sister, Leah (Ted) Guderjan of Toluca. She was preceded by: her parents; and her husband, Dr. E. G. Marty, Jr. on April 25, 1996.
