Marjorie Alice Stam, of Saginaw,died peacefully on July 19, 2024, at Toni and Trish Hospice House, at the age of 88.Marge was born on October 12, 1935, in Chicago, Illinois, to Erhard and Alice (Knarr) Henke. She graduated from Fenger High School in 1953, that same year, she married her husband, James Stam on October 31. She went on to make a life long career as an accountant at attorney tax office (Frank Polaski) and retired in 2020.Marge was known for being very crafty. She loved sewing in her early ages, crocheting, working on her knitting machine, and traveling around the United States with Jim.Marge is survived by her husband, Jim Stam; children, Nancy Marietta, Larry (Julie) Stam, and Eugene Stam; 10 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; siblings, Erhard (Marsha) Henke, Richard (Candy) Henke, Elemer (Donna) Henke; and daughter-in-law, Bridgett Stam. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Jimmy Stam; brother, Eugene Henke; and son-in-law, Leo Marietta.
