Marge was born in Louisville KY., the 6th child of Vance and Anna Alexander, attended Okolona Grade School, graduated Southern High School, and became a secretary at the GE Appliance Park. In 1958, she married her high school sweetheart Bill Board and supported the completion of his chemical engineering education. In 1960 they moved to Alabama for Bill’s first job where son Todd and daughter Stacey were born. As Bill’s career progressed, they moved to Georgia then Missouri,, and finally to Florida. Bill retired in 1992 and they began to travel all over America and the world. In 2004, Hurricane Ivan destroyed their Gulf Breeze home and they moved to Niceville. In 2016, Marge was diagnosed with dementia that ultimately caused her death. Marge loved Bill, her children, and being a mother.
