Marjorie A. Marge Wolf, 88, of Peru, died at 4:12 p.m. Thursday, December 7, 2006 at Illinois Valley Community Hospital, Peru. She was born May 12, 1918 in Peru to Urban and Bertha (Yanke) Engel. She worked at Westclox for over 25 years until they closed. She married Joseph Jodie Manicki on October 21, 1939 at St. Hyacinths Church, LaSalle. He died on December 10, 1976. She married Clement Wolf on May 26, 1983 in St. Josephs Church, Peru. He died on January 1, 2006. She was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ, LaSalle where she had been president of the Church Council, church Treasurer, Sunday School Superintendent, Sunday School Teacher for over 60 years, was youth leader, and was President of the Womens Fellowship. She was a member and Past President of the LaSalle American Legion Auxiliary, Past President of the LaSalle VFW Auxiliary and Past Chairman of the 12th District Junior VFW Auxiliary. She also was a member and Past President of the Eagles Auxiliary, Past President of REAC, a member of Westclox Quarter Century Club, and IVCH Auxiliary. She is survived by: 2 step-sons, George (Linda) Wolf of McHenry, IL, and Joseph (Pam) Wolf of Dimmick; 1 step-daughter, Mary (David) Bond of Crete; 8 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and 1 sister, Adele Wilmeroth of Peru. She was preceded by: both husbands; 3 sisters; and 1 brother.
