UPTON – Marjorie A (Whitney) Sadler, 79, of Upton, died early Monday, May 29, 2006 in her home after an illness. She was the wife of William H. Sadler.
Born in Grafton, she was the daughter of the late Daniel E. and Nora (McCarthy) Whitney. She graduated from Grafton High School in 1945 and had been a telephone operator for N. E. Telephone Co. for many years before retiring in 1989. She previously worked at Bay State Abrasives in Westboro and volunteered for many years at the former Upton Nursing Center and other nursing facilities. She was a member of the United Parish of Upton, Friends of Upton Elders, Milford Humane Society, Upton Historical Society, and had participated in the Senior Bowling League for many years.
