Marjorie A. Turner, loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on December 24th at the age of 81.

Marge was born on June 26, 1940 to the late Russell and Maxine (Cail) Foreman in Connersville, IN.

In 1955, Marge met the love of her life, Edwin Turner. They married in March of 1958. Ed and Marge resided in the Fayette County area until they moved to Lafayette in 1965. They had been married for 57 years before Ed preceded her in death on December 19, 2015.

Marge was a member of Brady Lane Church since 1968. She served on various committees throughout the years including Pioneer Women for Christ and The Fellowship Team. For 10 years she worked as an assistant at Good Shepherd Learning Center.

Ed and Marge always put Jesus first and taught their children to love the Lord. Marge loved her family and loved spending time with them. She loved being able to share photos and brag about all 67 of her grandchildren.

Marge was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin and their daughter, Leann K. Thornton.

She is survived by 3 children, Bret (Beth) Turner, Bob (Emma) Turner and Pam (Stuart) Michael; a son-in-law, Bill Thornton. Also surviving are 23 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. As well as brothers, Chuck (Kathy) Foreman, Don (Beth) Foreman, Bill Foreman, along with several nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends.

A celebration of Marge’s life will be on Thursday, December 30, 2021 at Brady Lane Church, 2701 Brady Lane, Lafayette, IN.
