Marjorie A. (Norton) Gould, 86, of Spring St. Hope Valley, RI and formerly of Warwick, RI, died peacefully on Thursday, April 24, 2008, at Rhode Island Hospital. She was the wife of the late Arthur R. Gould.
Born in Sedalia, MO, on July 26, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Robert S. and Fern L. Norton.
Mrs. Gould was a Cartographer for the Defense Mapping Agency from 1950 until her retirement in 1983.
Marjorie was a long time member of the Open Table of Christ United Methodist Church, formerly the Hillsgrove United Methodist Church in Warwick.
Marjorie enjoyed many years of hooking rugs and doing crafts at the Sweet Briar Study in Hope Valley, RI.
Mrs. Gould will be sadly missed by her son, Keith A. Gould of Stonington, CT and her brother Robert S. Norton Jr. of Seven Valleys, PA. She was the loving and devoted grandmother of Jeffrey K. Gould of East Providence, RI and Kimberly Wright of Burrillville, RI. She also leaves her great grandchildren, Xavier, Hannah and Hans Gould and Frederick and Karissa Wright.
