Marjorie A. Fase, age 73 of DeMotte, Indiana passed away Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at VNA Hospice of Valparaiso.
Marjorie was born in Hammond, Indiana on October 16, 1945 to Raymond and Marcella (Morehouse) Kikkert. She graduated from DeMotte High School, Class of 1963. Marjorie married Marvin H. Fase on December 4, 1963 in DeMotte.
He preceded her in death on October 6, 2014. Marjorie was a mail carrier for the DeMotte Post Office, from which she retired. She was a charter member of Bethel Christian Reformed Church and was very active in many different capacities within the church. Marjorie enjoyed working at P.E.T., being a mother and grandmother, and helping out wherever she could.
Marjorie is survived by her children: Denise Fase of Grand Rapids, MI; Dennis (Valerie) Fase of DeMotte, IN; Jeff (Rachel) Fase of Wheatfield, IN; Kevin (Jennifer) Fase of DeMotte, IN; 11 grandchildren; 1 great-grandson; siblings: Marcia (Don) Sytsma, Linda Peo, Lori Bult, Sharon (Geoff) Friday, Larry (Ann) Kikkert, Duane (Cris) Kikkert, Dale (Rhonda) Kikkert, Roger (Shannon) Kikkert; numerous nieces and nephews. Marjorie is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brother-in-law, Dave Bult.
