Those left to honor Marjorie’s memory are her son, Darrell (Kay) Cross of Des Moines, Iowa; 2 daughters, Diane Hansen of Ames, Iowa and Susan (Dennis) Mooers of Carlisle, Iowa; her 17 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; her 2 sisters, Darlene Orr of Marshalltown, Iowa and Carolyn Bollhoefer of Minnetonka, MN; brother-in-law, Richard (Bev) Cross of Baxter; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ervin D. and Meta (Goeke) Bollhoefer; first husband, Clifford WH Cross in 1990; her second husband, Joseph Herbold in 2005; a brother, Robert Bollhoefer; and son-in-law, Denny Hansen.
Marjorie graduated from Baxter High School and was the head cashier at State Savings Bank in Baxter for more than 35 years.
