After a long and courageous battle, Marjon Damir Kelley, 85, succumbed to cancer, surrounded by his family on October 16, 2015 in San Diego.
His beloved wife Darla, much-loved children Julie, Mich, Elizabeth and Mariana, and five treasured grandchildren survive . Marjon was a loving father, husband, grandfather and dear friend to many.
Marjon was a lover of life and a pursuer of dreams. He left his homeland of Canada to explore the world, and that he did. Some of his favourite memories included, winning a bronze medal while representing Canada as an amateur boxer in the 1967 Pan Am Games, as well as living in Hawaii where he constructed a sea-worthy boat , Marjon continued his dream building in Canada, marrying his love Darla, and raising his four children.
Marjon loved travelling to tropical destinations, where he enjoyed sunning himself on the beach and swimming in the ocean. Marjon also loved what he did for a living, he was a bricklayer, and he loved working with his hands and constructing with perfection.

Marjon will not only be remembered as a dedicated and loving husband, father and grandfather, but also as an honourable, trustworthy, loyal, and big-hearted friend. He was a unique and beautiful soul that will be missed by so many.
