Marion Trupke, age 83, of Algona died on Thursday, August 30, 2012 at Algona Manor Care Center.
Marion Jean Swain, the daughter of Robert and Amy (Daniels) Swain, was born on October 11, 1928 in Ogden, Iowa. She graduated from Ogden High School in 1946. On January 25, 1960 Marion was united in marriage with Donald Dean Trupke in Boone, Iowa. Marion and Donald owned and operated Trupke Electric Motor Service from 1956 to 1995. Marion was a member of First United Methodist Church, Garden Club and United Methodist Women’s circle.
Left to cherish Marion’s memory is her husband of 52 years, Donald; her sister, Norma Smith and her husband Jim of Johnston; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.
