Marion T. Hottes
Marion Thelma Hottes, 83, of Danbury, widow of Donald G. Hottes Sr., died Nov. 6, 2013, at Danbury Hospital.
Born Feb. 15, 1930, in Danbury, she was the daughter of the late Edward G. and Evelyn D. (Nichols) Sailer, and attended Danbury schools. A seamstress by trade, she married Donald G. Hottes on Sept. 15, 1957. She last worked at Filosa Convalescent Home and Hancock Hall before retiring.
Marion is survived by three children and their spouses: Evelyn “Lyn” Hottes and William Wisnowski, and Suzanne “Sue” and William Cariello, all of Danbury, and Donald G. “Butch” and Barbara Hottes Jr. of Pine Plains, N.Y.; six grandchildren and their spouses: Tammi Hottes and Ken Snead of Warwick, R.I., Wayne Hottes Jr. and Danielle Vachon of Milan, N.Y.
She was predeceased by a son, Wayne E. Hottes Sr.; a sister, Harriet Dingee; a brother, William Tucker; and a stepfather, George Gardner.
