Marion Gonzalez Sweeney, age 73, of Lawrenceville, Georgia, passed away peacefully on February 26, 2020.
She is survived by her four children – Shaun and spouse Julie of Canton, Michael and spouse Amy of awrenceville, Scott and spouse Stephanie of Dacula, Alina and spouse Mike of Lawrenceville. Also included are thirteen grandchildren – Paul, Timothy, Allison, David, Christina, Alysse, Shae, Lucas, Adelynn, Katy, Catalina, Mikey and Camila. Additional family include Jackie, Briana, Joshua, Victoria, Eric, Lauren, Jonathan, Vicki, Erin, Kaite, Colin, Shannon, Meagan, James, Andrea, Shannon, Don, Ava, Brian, Leslie, Rose, John, Erin, Kelley, Conlin, Shea, Genevieve, Maryellen, Jerry.
Marion was born September 8, 1946 (to the late Michael and Ilse Gonzalez) in Bamberg Germany.
She moved to the United States when she was 9 months old and spent her childhood in Washington Heights New York. She married at 21 and moved to Florida. Throughout her life she lived in New Jersey and Virginia until finally settling in Georgia in 1986. Marion had a wonderful sense of humor and lit up a room with her smile. Marion’s hobbies included photography, horticulture, writing, knitting and bird watching. Most importantly, Marion loved the Lord and will spend her eternal life with the Heavenly Father! She cared deeply for everyone who knew her, she will be greatly missed.
