Marion Sophie (Konow) Frazee, 74 of Red Bank, lost her brief but aggressive battle with cancer on March 8, 2022 while surrounded by family at Riverview Medical Center in Red Bank.
Marion was a devoted wife of almost 57 years, a beloved mother and proud grandmother, always doting on her grandchildren and providing endless love, affection and guidance.
Marion was a long time stay at home mother, raising her children and caring for her mother. She entered the workforce in 1980 as a floral designer, working for Bridle & Latham Florist in Red Bank until 1991, when she went to work at Barth’s Fair Haven Florist, until 1999. After a several year hiatus, Marion went to work for Saker Shop Rite of Middletown, belonging to UFCW, local 1262 and retiring in 2014.
Marion grew up in Rumson and was a 1965 graduate of Rumson-Fair Haven High School. She married her husband Dennis (Michael) Frazee and moved to Red Bank where they raised their family and have since resided for 56+ years.
Marion enjoyed many years at the family’s summer beach house as a resident and shareholder of Barley Point Island, on the Navesink River, in Rumson, N.J.
Marion is predeceased by her parents Francis and Frances (Rodemaker) Konow and her brothers Louis Konow and Francis (Frank) Konow.
She is survived by her husband Dennis (Mike) Frazee of Red Bank; her son and daughter in law, Michael and Stacy Frazee of Middletown; her daughter and son in law, Michelle and Michael Welsh of Little Silver; her grandchildren Mackenzie and Kevin Welsh and Michael and Ryan Frazee and several nieces and nephews.
