Ludlow – Marion M. (Sandbeck) Costa, 87, died Friday, August 29, 2009 in Baystate Medical Center. Born in Springfield, the daughter of John and Mabel (Crowley) Sandbeck, Marion was a longtime resident of Ludlow. A retired housekeeping supervisor for Baystate Medical Center, she was an avid reader, collector of lighthouses and loved to travel with her daughter. Besides her parents, Marion was predeceased by her husband, Manuel Costa; her daughter, Holly Noble and her sister, Rita Remanowski.
She leaves her two sons, John M. Costa of Westerly, RI and Christopher Costa and his wife, Linnae of Springfield; six grandchildren Laurel Leyden, Amanda Bean and Elizabeth, James, Matthew and Christopher Reed, two great-grandchildren and two great–great grandchildren.
