Passed away Sunday, July 31, 2016. Marion was born May 23, 1925, in Fremont, MI. She was the daughter of the late Myron and Nellie (DeHaven) Waters. On November 25, 1948, she was united in marriage to her loving husband, Charles H. Ludlow, who preceded her in death on May 8, 2012.

Marion graduated from Western Michigan University with a bachelor’s degree. She went on to teach for Otsego and Paw Paw Public Schools from 1947-1950. Marion was a long-time member of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). Marion was an avid reader, she had a love for shopping – especially for a good bargain, was an excellent baker, had a generous nature, and was well-liked by everyone, young and old. She was a 52-year member and a pillar of P.E.O., Chapter Q. She held all of the offices in the chapter, was a treasured member and sister in the P.E.O. Sisterhood, and even in recent years invited Chapter Q to meet at the Fountains for one of their monthly meetings each spring. She was a lifelong member of P.E.O.

Surviving Marion are her 5 children, Charles (Deborah) Ludlow, Gregory (Christine Seashore) Ludlow, Cynthia (John) Brennan, Cathy (Kevin) Cooper, Carol (Ronald Coleman) Ludlow; grandchildren, Kortnee Berkheiser, Chase Carman, Brinton Seashore-Ludlow, James Seashore-Ludlow, and Chas Ludlow; step-grandchildren, Kasey Cooper, Shelly Reeves, Michael Reeves, and Amy Leasure; great-grandchildren, Hanna Miller, Breckyn Addis, Charlie Carman, and Grace Cooper; sister, Katie Simmons; and brother, Lee Waters.

She was also preceded in death by a brother, Jim Waters. At her request, cremation has taken place.
