Marion Jean Feehan, 92, of Ottawa passed away peacefully on Monday, October 25, 2021 at her home, surrounded by family. Marion was born on September 1, 1929 in Spring Valley, IL to John Luke and Verda Jean (Hicks) Neary.
Marion worked as a stenographer for Libby-Owens Ford Glass Company. She married John “Jack” Feehan on June 7, 1952 at St. Columba Church in Ottawa.
Marion was a member of St. Columba Church, Deer Park Country Club, Starved Rock Yacht Club, and the Elks Club. She was and avid Cubs fan, and enjoyed traveling and golf. She had a love of Ireland, researching her genealogical roots, and was a member of the LaSalle County Genealogical Society. More than anything Marion loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by 4 children, Jack (Patti) Feehan of Ottawa, Sharon (Bill Vaughan) Feehan of Forest Lake, MN, Kathleen (Wayne) Kellogg of Ottawa, and Patrick (Tammi) Feehan of Ottawa; 11 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Jack.
