Marion Delyghte Littlejohn died peacefully surrounded by her family and dog, “Arty” on Sunday, June 12, 2011. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles, to whom she was married for over 60 years. She is survived by her son, Stephen Littlejohn and his wife Pam of Castro Valley, daughter Lisa Applegate and her husband Stan of Lafayette and granddaughters, Lindsay and Elizabeth Littlejohn and Neila Hansel, along with Neila’s husband, Chris. She was also “Gigi” to her great-grandchildren, Madelin and Owen Hansel, with whom she had a very special relationship. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Don and Doug Amos.
Marion and Charles were long-time residents of Alameda, where Charles built their house on Bay Farm Island 57 years ago.
Marion’s family will miss her very much.
