Born in Fleming County on January 22, 1945, he was the son of the late Ira and Leona Hopkins Roberts.
He is survived by his daughters, Donna Thoroughman (David Sheperd), Tiffany Boswell and husband Richard; Heather Roberts (John) and Pamela Hicks and husband Kevin; his brothers, Kenny Roberts and Danny “Tuck” Roberts; his sisters, Laverne McDaniels & Janet Wallingford.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth “ Libby” Roberts; his parents; his sisters, Wilma Himes and Genevieve Hamilton; and his brothers, David Roberts and Dennis Roberts.
