Marilynn A. (Bartolt) Patterson, 87, of Oglesby, passed away Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at Aperion Care of Spring Valley.
Marilynn was born February 24, 1934 in Peru to Raymond and Inez (Buffington) Bartolt. She was a graduate of Illinois Valley Community College where she received her degree as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
Marilynn worked for Heritage Healthcare Center, Peru for over 20 years. She also provided in home care and worked at the Tonica Nursing Home for several years.
Marilynn was a member of Tonica United Methodist Church and Eastern Star. She loved playing the accordion and enjoyed gardening.
Survivors include her children, Rick (Bonita) Patterson of Cherokee Village, AR, Mary Hughes of Peru, Connie Patterson of Jackson, MO, and Randall (Monica) Patterson of Peru; grandchildren, LouAnn Mallach, Jolene (David) Bresson, Jerick Hughes, Koverick Hughes, Aja Hughes, Jessica Friar, Stephanie Anderson, Benjamin Patterson, Becca Patterson, Elizabeth Hofstatter, David (Marcia) Bogner, Brian (Amy) Bogner, and Mark (Sarah) Bogner; 19 great-grandchildren; and her brother, Raymond Bartolt Jr. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Lori Ann Bogner; two sons-in-law, Willie Hughes and Joe Bogner; and two sisters, Linda Burton and Carol Gray.
