Marilyn Sheehan Norwich – Marilyn (Atwood) Sheehan, 79, passed away peacefully at the Orchard Grove Specialty Care in Uncasville on Thursday, June 28, 2012. She married James E. Sheehan on November 30, 1957. He predeceased her in 1991. Marilyn enjoyed caring for any stray cats that needed some love, including stuffed. Mrs. Sheehan is survived by her daughters, Kathleen Sheehan of Norwich, Colleen Fontaine and her husband Brian of Griswold, her sons James E. Sheehan, Jr. and his wife Christine of Canterbury, Kelly Sheehan and his significant other Sue Abramowitz of Norwich. She leaves seven grandchildren, Jessica, MaryLee, Jamie, Kevin, Kelly Jr., Nicole Sheehan, and AJ Fontaine, two great grandchildren Anthony Ladouceur and Shamrah Sheehan, her bother Clayton Atwood and his wife Barbara of Chaplin, CT and several nieces and nephews.
