Marilyn Jean Piquet, 87, of Idaho Falls, passed away November 24, 2018, at Lincoln Court Retirement Community.
Marilyn was born June 1, 1931, in Council Bluffs, Iowa, to Edward R. Kain and Evelyn Pedersen Kain. She grew up and attended schools in Council Bluffs and graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School. She also attended business school. She worked for 20 years at Union Pacific while in Iowa.
On April 9, 1966, she married Myron Nickell Piquet from Driggs, Idaho, in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Shortly after their marriage they moved to Idaho. Marilyn and Myron made their home in Idaho Falls, where Myron worked for Coke and then Pepsi as a repairman most of his careers and Marilyn worked at various jobs as a secretary.
