Marilyn Natalie (Oltmans) Briggs, of Cromwell, CT, beloved wife of Richard J. Briggs for 65 years, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 7th at Hartford Hospital at the age of 87. Born in Cambridge, MA, she was the daughter of the late John and Lilly (Nilsson) Oltmans.
She married Richard in April of 1948. They moved to Lexington, MA in 1953 where they spent the next 51 years raising their family and enjoying life. During this time they enjoyed summer vacations in Craigville, MA and later at their farm in Phillips, ME.
