Marilyn J. Morris was born in Los Angeles, California, on January 13, 1950, to L.J. and Jessie B. Johnson.
Marilyn accepted Christ at an early age. She was baptized and confirmed at Our Lady of Sorrows Parish.
She graduated from John Marshall High School in 1968.
Marilyn began her career at Cook County Hospital in 1969, where she worked 31 years until her retirement.
Marilyn was married in 1969 and to this union two daughters were born. On January 25, 1985, Marilyn was united in Holy Matrimony to Collins Morris.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband, Collins Morris; her parents, L.J. and Jessie B. Johnson; her brothers, Woodrow, Louis, Irwin, and Aaron; her sisters, Janice and Juanita, and granddaughter, Aaliyah.
Her memory will always be cherished by her daughters, Lisa, and Annette (Dashun); her sister, Delilah; her brother, Samuel; grandchildren, Markus (Jessica), Alexus (Kendall), Alyscia, Kevin, Kobe, and Kayden; great grandchildren, Matthew, Benjamin, and Karter; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
