Marilyn Lorene (Tyree) Lamborn, 81, of Canon City passed away on September 25, 2021, in Colorado Springs.
She was born on October 26, 1939, in Granada, Colorado to Claud Earl and Anna Mae Tyree. Marilyn married Robert Leroy Lamborn on January 3, 1956, in Clayton, New Mexico. They went on to start their married life together in Lakin, Kansas before moving to Canon City in 1968, where they decided to put down their roots. She was a homemaker, enjoyed gardening and the outdoors.
Mrs. Lamborn is survived by her 4 children, Christine (Joseph) Crane, Gary (Jean) Lamborn, Kathleen (Phil) Eastman, and Robert (Stephanie) Lamborn; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sister, Virginia Salem; and brother, Russell Tyree.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Claud and Anna Tyree; husband, Robert Lamborn; son, James Lee Lamborn; and brothers, Bill and Wayne Tyree.
