Marilyn L. Swiger Lockhart, 74, of Wallace, WV, passed away at her home on Thursday, May 13, 2010. She was born January 16, 1936 in Spelter, WV, the daughter of the late Esty F. and Macel Rhoda Byrd Swiger. She was preceded in death by her husband; Earl Lockhart, one son; David Lynn Lockhart, one brother; Elmus Harson, two sisters; Lucy Mae Swiger and Wanda Jean Gump. Surviving are one son; Michael Edward Lockhart and companion Lynn of Wallace, two grandchildren; Corey David Lockhart and Cody Joseph Lockhart, one great grandchild; Gabriel James Lockhart, three brothers; Junior Franklin Swiger and his wife Mary Lou, Edward R. Swiger and wife Linda and Kenneth Wayne Swiger and wife Cotton, all of Wallace, one sister; Connie Swiger Coburn of Wallace and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Lockhart was a Baptist by faith and attended many churches. She enjoyed talking to her friends and shopping. Her family would like to give a big thank you to hospice and all of the family members who helped with her care.
