Marilyn Elizabeth Koeller, 68, of San Antonio, passed away on February 4, 2018 in San Antonio.
Marilyn was born in San Antonio, TX to Ewing James William McKinney, Col. USAF (Ret) and Margaret Elizabeth McKinney on September 2, 1949. She was the only daughter out of five children. After graduating high school in 1967, she attended Memphis State University where she met the love of her life, Gary Douglas Koeller. They were married in 1968 and remained married for forty-nine years. They had two daughters Carrie and Jennie and built a loving home with lots of laughter, patriotism and love. She worked in elementary education for twenty years with a focus on special education.
Marilyn is preceded in death by her parents, Ewing James William McKinney, Col. (Ret.) USAF and Margaret Elizabeth McKinney.
Marilyn is survived by her husband, Gary Douglas Koeller; her daughter, Carrie Elizabeth Ramirez and son-in-law Ruben Rene Ramirez; her daughter Jennie Lee Koeller Garcia and son-in-law Reynaldo Garcia III, MSgt, USAF (Ret); her grandchildren, Ryan Rene Ramirez, Zack Porter Ramirez, Caleb Douglas Stephens, Cydney Patricia Stephens, Erin Elizabeth Stephens, and Aurelia Magdalena Garcia; and her brothers, Jim and Martha McKinney, Ken and Kathy McKinney, Bill and Sharlene McKinney, Pat and Sharon McKinney. She is an aunt and great aunt to many, many more….
