Marilyn Klann, 86, of New Buffalo, Michigan died peacefully Sunday morning, May 17, 2015 at her home.Marilyn was born May 13, 1929 in Mishawaka, Indiana to Damen and Ruby (Swartzal) Patterson. She graduated from Bourbon High School in 1947. On June 28, 1952 she married Harold R. Klann in Bourbon, Indiana.
Marilyn and Harold lived in Three Oaks while they raised their family and built their retirement home in New Buffalo. God and family where important to Marilyn. She cared for her home and family and was a member of the Three Oaks Free Methodist Church.
Survivors include her children, Randall (Denise) Klann of Bridgman, Michigan; Gregory (Connie) Klann of Three Oaks and Kent Klann (Kent Allen) of Louisville, Kentucky; grandchildren, Matthew, Marc, Nathan, Nicole and Derek; great grandchildren, May, Devin, Connie, Nathan, Rebecca, Landon, Logan, Makayla and Liam; sisters, Eleanor Gammill of New Carlisle, Indiana, Rita (Charles) Hyde of Etna Green, Indiana and Carol Bennett of Breman, Indiana; brothers William (Patricia) Patterson of Mishawaka and Robert (Leslie) Patterson of Lagro, Indiana and sister-in-law Alice Pfauth.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold in 1998. She was also preceded in death by her sisters, June Stayton and Joyce Patterson and brothers John Patterson and Roger Patterson.
