Marilyn Kaye Dalton Turley was born 3 April 1950 to Gene Ross Dalton and Shirley Mae Jorgensen Dalton at the Thomas D. Dee Memorial hospital in Ogden, Utah.

She passed away on Friday, September 24, 2021 in West Haven, Utah from lung cancer.

She graduated in 1968 from Ben Lomond High School.

Merrell and Marilyn were married in Roy, UT on 2 February 2002.

Marilyn re-affiliated with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in 2019 and was endowed on 19 December 2020 in the Ogden, Utah temple.

Marilyn went into the Navy Reserve active duty for 40 months and then re-affiliated in the Navy Reserve as a reservist and retired on 1 Jan 2001. She used the Gl bill to graduate from Weber University with a Bachelor’s degree in Logistics Management.

Marilyn had many interests, most of which she claimed to be not very good at, but everyone around her believed differently.

Additionally, she was an avid golfer and did manage to get three hole-in-ones, and yet she always strived to get better.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband of 20 years, Merrell Wesley Turley, her brother, Larry Gene Dalton and his wife Darla Dalton, Three amazing nephews; Jance (Autumn), Grant (Sarah) and Brad Dalton (Jessica); wonderful step-daughter Lorie (Parry) and step-son Wesley (Jennifer). Other survivors include her forever sister, Linda Dickerson

Boyer, and the numerous ward members she called brothers and sisters.
