Marilyn “Peachy” Watt, 87, passed away on Friday, June 19, 2015 at her home in Boise. She was the loving wife of Harold Watt to whom she was married for 63 years.

Marilyn was born on October 12, 1927 in Jerome, Idaho to Floyd and Erma Beddall. She attended Jerome schools and graduated from Jerome High School. She then attended Idaho State University for two years.

Other than her family and extended family, Marilyn’s main interest was music. She sang with choruses and choirs everywhere she lived, including Idaho State Choir, and local choirs in Iowa, Walla Walla and Mesa, Arizona.

Marilyn was employed by J.C. Penney Co. and worked in nine different stores as she and Harold moved around, eventually advancing to management positions.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents: Floyd and Erma Beddall; Her brother John Beddall and her sister Marcia Bengoechea. She is survived by her husband Harold Watt; two sons: James (Melody) of Issaquah, WA and Steven (Denise) of Kennewick, WA; Grandchildren: Kaylon Marquardt (Matthew) of Kennewick, WA, Monica Watt (Kenneth King) of Monroe, WA, Kevin Watt of Monroe, WA, and Eric Watt of Issaquah, WA and Ryan Watt of Issaquah, WA; several nieces and nephews including: Floyd Blamires of Boise, Linda Willey (Dallas) of Boise, Kim James (Tim) of Twin Falls and Shane Bengoechea (Diane) of Boise.

Marilyn’s family would like to especially thank Dr. Gretchen Kohler and Heart and Home Hospice for their love and care, and Levi and Angie and all their friends and neighbors who have extended assistance.
