Marilyn Jean Rowles, age 94, died on Monday Oct. 2, 2023, at her residence in DeWitt.Marilyn was born on May 3, 1929, in Highland Park. She was the beloved daughter of William and Myrtle (Hewson) Fournier. After graduating high school, she married the love of her life, Rodney B. Rowles. Together they made their home in the Laingsburg area for many years.Marilyn will be remembered for her love of dogs, especially Airedale Terriers. She was sweet, kindhearted and a wonderful friend to all who knew her. She will be deeply missed by her dear friends, Randall Young and his family, Kelly McCall, Patty Hardy and Bruce Ferguson. She was preceded in death by her husband Rodney in 2003, and her close fried Edith Young in 2022.
