Marilyn J. Rengert, age 72 of Waldo passed away Thursday, March 30, 2017 at Marion General Hospital. She was born in Morrow County on October 20, 1944 to Wilber and Jane (Hatten) Mosher who preceded Marilyn in death. Marilyn was a devoted wife and mother, her whole life revolved around her family. She had a quick witted humor and she was loved by all. Marilyn was an avid golfer, boasting the only hole in one in the Rengert family. She loved traveling and taking her bicycle out for a ride. Marilyn was a sports fan as she enjoyed watching all sorts of sporting events. On June 14, 1964 Marilyn married Daniel Rengert at the First United Methodist of Cardington, Daniel survives in Waldo. In addition to her husband, Marilyn is survived by her two children, Angela Strauch-Rengert of Waldo, and Don (Laura) Rengert of Marion; four grandchildren Daniel and Faith Strauch, Wesley and Courtney Rengert, and three great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Marilyn was preceded in death by her brother Sam Mosher, and her sister Ann Baer.
