Marilyn J. (Reynolds) Rick, 74, of Marseilles, formerly of Ottawa, died on Friday, May 9, 2014 at Pleasant View.
Marilyn was born on June 28, 1939 in Ottawa, to Charles Orville and Edna Louise (Beguin) Reynolds. She married William Rick on March 23, 1957 in Ottawa. A former member of St. Mary’s Church in Naplate, she had been attending St. Joseph Church in Marseilles.
Marilyn is survived by her daughter Kim Zimmerman, of Marseilles, 3 grandchildren, Jenna (Keith) Seroka, of Ottawa, Joyce (Kyle) Sheldon, of Round Lake and Katie (Andrew) Gould, of Ottawa, 3 great grandchildren, Carrie, Brock and Ainslee; 2 sisters, Birdie (Jerry) Goodchild, of Ottawa and Donna Simmons, of Naplate, and 6 brothers; Roy (Ann) Reynolds, of Ottawa, Dale (Shirley) Reynolds, of Marble Hill, MO, Vernon (Judy) Reynolds, of Ottawa, Don Reynolds, of Streator, Raymond (Sharon) Reynolds, of Ottawa and Terry (Rhonda) Reynolds, of Cambridge, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband William, on July 31, 1979, a son Terry and daughter Debbie both in infancy, 2 sisters, Vera Reynolds and Phyllis Caffee and 6 brothers; Charles Orville, Jr., Dawson, Frederick, Eugene, Dewey, and Robert Reynolds.
