Marilyn J. Brennan, 85, a 60 year Middletown resident, passed away on February 25, 2022 at Riverview Medical Center. Marilyn was born in Bunker Hill, IL to Wilfred and Ella (Eden) Rensing. She was a graduate of Bunker Hill High School.
After high school, Marilyn attended secretarial school and secured a position with Shell Oil Corp. in Illinois where she met her husband, Thomas.
Marilyn was an avid global traveler, but her passion for the American west was unsurpassed.
Most recently, Marilyn was employed by Fort Monmouth as the Administrative Assistant to the US General on post.
She was a longtime member of Middletown United Methodist Church.
She is predeceased by her parents, her brother, Marvin Rensing and in 1980 by her husband of 20 years, Thomas F. Brennan.
Marilyn is survived by her children; Thomas (Shelbi) Brennan and Kelly Siegfried and partner, Daniel Quirk, all of Middletown and her grandchildren; Will (Julia) Siegfried of Wall, and Isla and Lara Brennan of Middletown.
