Marilyn G. Coronis, 63, passed away July 3, 2007 surrounded by her loving family after a long courageous battle with cancer.
Marilyn was born September 3, 1943 in Mineola, NY, the daughter of Trent and Christine (DeCillo) Donofrio. She graduated from Farmingdale College in Long Island, NY. On September 21, 1969, she was united in marriage to Alex Coronis in Long Island and the following week they moved to Ocean City, FL. In 1973, they moved to Shalimar, FL where they currently reside. Marilyn worked at the First National Bank in Fort Walton Beach for fifteen years until her retirement in April of 2007. She loved to read, crossword puzzles and taking care of her family.
She is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, Alex Coronis of Shalimar, FL; two daughters, Nicole Head and husband, Gene, of Jefferson, GA and Krisi Blalock and husband, Ryan, of Abbeville, AL; four grandchildren, Robbie and Raegan Head, Jackson and Anna Grace Blalock; one brother, Ronald Donofrio and wife, Carol, of Fort Lauderdale, FL.
