Marilyn “Duck” Crawford-Rivers, a native of Eufaula, Alabama was born to the late J.B. Crawford and Beatrice Florence Crawford on September 10, 1947. She was a twin.

She departed her earthly sojourn to rest in the loving arms of her heavenly Father on Saturday, July 17, 2021.

At an early age she accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at the First Born Holiness Church in Eufaula Alabama. Later she united with the Brown Cathedral COGIC which became Bread of Life COGIC in Eufaula Alabama.

On Saturday, July 17, 2021, Marilyn made her peacefully transition into the loving arms of our Heavenly Father. She will be sorely missed, but we will always keep her love, laughter, and wisdom in our hearts forever.

She was preceded in death by her parents, J. B. and Beatrice Crawford; brothers James Crawford, Reverend Bobby Crawford; sisters, Lois Murray, Carolyn Denson and Helen Hancock.                                                                                                       

She leaves to cherish her precious memories her husband Robert Rivers Eufaula AL; one daughter Reverend Angie (Reverend Bobby) Cox of Pikesville MD; sisters, Margaret Crawford of Baltimore MD, Mary Crawford of Chicago IL, Earlene Smith Mallard of Eufaula AL, Janice Radford of Eufaula AL; brothers, Earl Farley (Annik) of Hewitt Texas Charleston Reaves of Eufaula AL; two grandchildren Tenecia N. Crawford of Pikesville MD, Bobby B. “Brad” Cox III of Houston TX; one great granddaughter Avery McKinley Grace Crawford of Pikesville MD; one devoted nephew whom she raised Isaiah Hancock; one sister-in-law Gwen Crawford Eufaula AL; one devoted niece Pastor Kathy Peterson; and a host of niece, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends. Two very close and devoted friends Doris Smith and Eula Mencer.
