Mrs. Marilyn Bennett Cowan, age 78, of Rockledge, FL, longtime companion to the late Robert Patrick, passed away on Thursday, March 30, 2006 in Rockledge, FL. Daughter of the late William and Catherine Moran Bennett, she was born on September 7, 1927 in Bridgeport. Mrs. Cowan worked as a secretary for Remington Arms in Bridgeport, Sikorsky Aircraft in Stratford, and Norden Systems in Norwalk before her retirement. She was an active Bingo player. She was known for her generosity and will be missed by many dear friends. Mrs. Cowan is survived by a daughter, Catherine Elizabeth Arnett and her husband Eric of Bridgeport, two sisters, Eleanor McMaugh of Virginia, Ruth Piccot of Southbury, a son-in-law by a first marriage, James MacDonald of Milford, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters, Esther Brien and Doris Neubaum.
