Marilyn Carrie (McKeever) Theroux, 79, of Westhampton, was surrounded by loved ones as she peacefully passed into God’s hands on October 21,2021.
She was born on September 26, 1942, in Omaha, Nebraska, the daughter of James and Julia (McNichols) McKeever.
She attended schools in Omaha, Nebraska. As a young woman, she met the love of her life, Raymond A. Theroux whom was serving at the local Air Force base at the time. They were wed on October 19, 1959.
Early in their business life, they also began creating the home of Marilyn’s dreams in Westhampton. The family and a few close friends worked together to build her dream, that she called home for 45 years. Mom was always supporting the building process by providing meals for the workers and occasionally, would pick up a hammer and hit a few nails herself.
Marilyn is survived by Regina M. Theroux of Westhampton, Cindy L. Peloquin of Russell, Alan Guyette of Southampton (son-in -law), Carolynne J. O’Connell of Orange and Stephen O’Connell (son-in-law), Suzanne L. Bahre of Westfield and Jason Bahre (son-in-law). She leaves 16 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild, as well as several nieces and nephews and her beloved pet, Tucker.
Marilyn is also survived by her sisters, Juanita Pahkamaa of Omaha and Lucille Golden of Blair, NE.
Besides her parents, Marilyn was predeceased by her loving husband, Raymond A. Theroux, daughter Patricia A. Guyette, grandson Timothy D. Casey, brother Joseph McKeever, sisters Myrtle Heisner, Virginia Keas, and Patricia Matson.
Mom, you are gone from us physically but you will never leave our hearts and minds. Make a joyful noise in heaven and dance to your hearts delight.
