Marilyn A. Rzeszewski, 80, of South Bend, Indiana passed away on Saturday, December 4, 2021 in Memorial Hospital of South Bend. She was born on May 10, 1941 in South Bend, Indiana to the late Casimer J. (Casey) and Helen C. (Linetty) Pajakowski. On September 15, 1962 she married Thomas T. (T.R.) Rzeszewski who preceded her in death on May 10, 1997. Marilyn is survived by one daughter, Mary Beth (Daniel) Wisniewski of South Bend, Indiana, two grandchildren, Jason (Kelly) Wisniewski and Craig Wisniewski, two great-grandchildren, Dexter and Sydney Wisniewski. Marilyn was also preceded in death by one sister, Christine (Tina) Barnes.

Marilyn retired after 38 years of public service working in the St. Joseph County Clerk’s Office holding various positions ultimately becoming St. Joseph County Clerk. She also worked in Voter’s Registration before retiring from the Civil Division of the St. Joseph County Police Department. She was a member of the Polish Falcons of America Nest 4, St. Joseph County Democratic Women’s Club, Precinct Chair for over 50 years, St. Casimir’s Altar & Rosary Society, Senior’s Club, Usher’s Club and Eucharistic Minister. She was an avid Notre Dame, Chicago Bears and White Sox fan. T. R. and Marilyn had the best tailgate parties. Marilyn loved to play euchre, go to lunch with the girls and travel, especially bus trips. Faith, Family and Friends meant the world to her.
