Marillyn Hanemann Jesmonth passed away on January 25, 2016 at the age of 87. Marillyn was born on December 4, 1928 in New Orleans, LA, the daughter of Edgar P. and Olga (Fernandez) Hanemann. She later moved to Birmingham, AL where she was a 1945 graduate of Phillips High School. She attended Little Rock Junior College and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Tulane University (Sophie Newcomb Memorial College) in 1950. Marillyn was a Gulf Breeze resident since 1958 and was among the early residents who helped incorporate the city.
