Marilla Palmer Potts, 90, of Salisbury, passed away December 11, 2011 at Magnolia Gardens in Spencer.
Born December 4, 1921, she was the daughter of the late J. I. Palmer and Ara Lee Lookabill Palmer.
Mrs. Potts was a member of Trading Ford Baptist Church.
Preceding her in death were her husband of 72 years, Melvin Harris Potts, on August 21, 2011, and her brother, Charles “Bud” Palmer.
Survivors include her son, James Melvin Potts (Linda) of Salisbury; daughters, Eleanor Potts and Palma Potts Lloyd, both of Salisbury; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and three step great grandchildren.
